They are looking for a highly skilled Senior C++ Engineer to contribute to the development of ultra-low-latency, high-performance trading systems. This position focuses on building and optimising critical trading infrastructure, improving execution performance, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of systems operating in real-time environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimise low-latency trading infrastructure using modern C++.
- Build scalable systems supporting trading, execution, and risk management workflows.
- Develop and maintain exchange connectivity for market data and order entry.
- Optimise CPU utilisation, memory management, and multi-threaded applications.
- Work closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and infrastructure engineers to improve system performance.
- Profile, benchmark, and troubleshoot real-time applications to minimise latency and maximise throughput.
- Build robust, fault-tolerant systems that support continuous trading operations.
Requirements
- Expert-level C++ development experience, including modern C++ standards (C++17 or later).
- Strong background in low-latency and high-performance systems programming.
- Deep understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/UDP, concurrency, and multi-threading.
- Extensive Linux development experience and performance optimisation expertise.
- Experience building real-time, high-throughput systems where performance is business-critical.
- Previous exposure to trading technology within crypto, capital markets, electronic trading, or other performance-sensitive environments.
