Junior C++ Software Engineer | Systematic Trading Technology
A leading multi-manager investment firm is making a significant investment in its systematic trading technology platform.The firm recently hired a highly respected senior trading technologist to lead the buildout of a next-generation research and execution platform and is now looking for several strong C++ engineers to join the team early in its growth cycle.
This is a rare opportunity to help build core trading infrastructure from the ground up rather than maintain existing systems. Engineers will have direct ownership over critical components including market data, exchange connectivity, OMS, execution, risk controls, and low-latency infrastructure while working closely with quantitative researchers, portfolio managers, and traders.
What makes this interesting:
- Greenfield platform buildout with significant engineering ownership
- Opportunity to shape architecture and technical direction from day one
- Direct interaction with PMs, quants, and trading teams
- Modern C++ development in a performance-critical environment
- Work on latency-sensitive trading and research infrastructure
- Join an organization continuing to invest heavily in technology and systematic trading
Ideal background:
- Strong C++ fundamentals and systems programming experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a professional environment
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems
- Interest in low-latency and high-performance computing
- Linux development experience
- Desire to learn and solve complex technical problems
If you're a C++ engineer who enjoys building systems from scratch and wants to work on technology that sits directly in the trading and investment process, I'd be happy to share more details. Apply or reach out directly for a confidential conversation;
