Overview:
A dynamic and fast growing private real estate investment firm in Denver, Colorado, is looking to add a Vice President of Capital Markets to help lead their investor relations and business development efforts. This executive will play a critical role in shaping the firm's capital strategy, cultivating investor relationships, and securing capital to support the firm's growth initiatives.
The Vice President of Capital Markets will be responsible for:
- Lead all capital markets activities, including sourcing and structuring debt and equity for acquisitions and development projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, family offices, lenders, and capital partners.
- Collaborate with acquisitions, development, and asset management teams to align capital strategies with investment goals.
- Negotiate term sheets, loan agreements, and partnership structures.
- Monitor market trends and capital flows to inform strategic decision-making.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, investor meetings, and capital markets events.
The Vice President of Capital Markets should have:
- 10+ years of experience in real estate capital markets, investment banking, or private equity.
- Proven track record of raising institutional capital and structuring complex real estate transactions.
- Deep network of capital sources including debt providers, equity investors, and financial intermediaries.
- Strong financial modeling, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
