A Real Estate Investment Management firm is looking to add a Vice President of Capital Formation to their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of Family offices, RIAs, and other private wealth channels along with proven fundraising experience for Multifamily assets.
The Vice President of Capital Formation will be responsible for:
- Spearhead fundraising initiatives across all investment offerings.
- Leverage existing relationships and networks to identify and engage prospective partners.
- Develop deep expertise in the firm's investment strategies to effectively communicate value to internal and external stakeholders.
- Generate innovative sales and educational content, including blog posts and thought leadership pieces, to promote the products.
- Identify and pursue national opportunities that align with the firm's strengths through targeted sales campaigns.
- Conduct proactive outreach, including calls, meetings, and events, to engage both current and potential investors.
- Create and execute a comprehensive business development and sales strategy.
- Research and cultivate relationships with new firms that can benefit from the firm's offerings.
- Stay informed on market dynamics, investor behavior, and advisor trends to inform strategy and messaging.
The Vice President of Capital Formation should have:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the investment industry.
- Active Series 7 and 63 or 66 licenses.
- Proven track record of raising capital from RIAs and Family Offices.
- Strong background in alternative investments and multifamily real estate experience.
- Familiarity with regulatory environments across the U.S. and the ability to navigate them effectively.
- Comfortable working with a dynamic and evolving product lineup.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and expectations.
- High level of initiative, integrity, and a results-driven mindset.
- Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients.
