Regulatory Compliance Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews and internal audits.
- Maintain, develop, and implement compliance policies and procedures.
- Provide training and day‑to‑day guidance to employees on compliance topics.
- Support regulatory reporting and act as a point of contact for supervisory authorities.
- Report to the Head of Legal & Compliance while partnering closely with other internal teams.
- Lead or support firm‑wide initiatives linked to new regulatory requirements or remediation activities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across functions to ensure smooth execution of compliance‑related projects.
- Monitor evolving regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on the business.
- Work closely with the Risk Management function to align compliance and risk frameworks.
- Participate in risk assessments and help develop mitigation measures.
- Monitor key risk indicators and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Support the integration of compliance and risk controls into daily business processes.
Qualifications
- Degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in compliance or risk roles within the AIFM sector.
- Solid understanding of key regulatory frameworks (AIFMD, AML, GDPR, MiFID II, etc.).
- Good knowledge of the investment fund industry.
- Proven experience managing regulatory or change‑driven projects.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent command of English. Proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with compliance tools.
