PM / Trader
We are working with a Prop Group seeking a highly motivated and analytical Quantitative Trader to join their trading team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantitative analysis, statistics, and financial markets, with a passion for developing and executing data-driven trading strategies.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing systematic trading strategies across global markets, using your quantitative skills to identify inefficiencies and generate alpha.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quantitative trading strategies based on rigorous data analysis.
Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and trading opportunities.
Backtest and optimize strategies to ensure robustness and profitability.
Monitor and manage live trading strategies; adjust as market conditions evolve.
Collaborate with research, technology, and operations teams to ensure smooth strategy deployment.
Conduct post-trade analysis and performance attribution to improve future models.
Requirements:
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
Proven experience in trading or developing systematic/quantitative strategies.
Strong programming skills in Python, C++, R, or similar languages.
Deep understanding of statistical methods, time series analysis, and machine learning.
Solid knowledge of financial instruments (equities, futures, FX, crypto, etc.).
Experience with backtesting frameworks and market data infrastructure.
Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and risk awareness.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience at a proprietary trading firm, hedge fund, or investment bank.
Exposure to high-frequency trading (HFT) or low-latency systems.
Experience in deploying strategies in live environments.
Familiarity with cloud computing, parallel processing, or GPU-based research.
