Loan Origination Specialist
We are seeking a skilled professional to join an European Bank with their Syndicated Finance team, focusing on the origination and structuring of syndicated loan transactions for corporate and financial institution clients across Asia. This role involves identifying financing opportunities, developing tailored loan structures, and managing the end-to-end execution process-from initial proposal through to documentation and syndication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and originate syndicated loan opportunities.
- Structure and negotiate financing solutions aligned with market conditions and risk assessments.
- Prepare and present financing proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs and internal standards.
- Oversee transaction execution, including documentation review and coordination with stakeholders.
- Support syndication efforts and internal distribution strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of loan markets and apply insights to enhance deal structuring and execution.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting on transaction progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- 7-10 years of experience in syndicated loans, debt capital markets, or related credit functions.
- Proven sales and client engagement experience; project management experience is a plus.
- Strong command of English; additional Asian languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) are advantageous.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
