Job Summary:
Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams by translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications. Collaborate across departments to support the development of data integration solutions for a critical enterprise data platform.
Work Model:
This role follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation of being in-office 2-3 days per week at the St. Petersburg, FL location.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive business requirements for both functional (e.g., business processes, rules) and non-functional (e.g., data, security) needs.
- Collect and interpret data from various sources including databases and stakeholder interviews.
- Independently resolve complex analytical challenges and provide actionable recommendations.
- Support application development teams by documenting business processes and requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Integrate diverse business unit goals into cohesive project specifications.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to business audiences and vice versa.
- Maintain attention to detail while keeping a strategic perspective.
- Model business and financial impacts of proposed solutions.
- Contribute to project planning including estimates, schedules, and implementation strategies.
- Interpret policies and recommend improvements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong background in business analysis, data analysis, and project management.
- Intermediate proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or Qlik (preferred).
- Product management experience (preferred).
- Skilled in conducting stakeholder interviews and managing product lifecycles.
- Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.
- Experience in vendor and project management (desirable).
- Familiarity with financial services or investment banking (preferred).
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Analysis or related field (required).
- Master's degree in Computer and Information Science (preferred).
Experience:
- 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience.
