Job Summary:

Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams by translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications. Collaborate across departments to support the development of data integration solutions for a critical enterprise data platform.

Work Model:

This role follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation of being in-office 2-3 days per week at the St. Petersburg, FL location.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive business requirements for both functional (e.g., business processes, rules) and non-functional (e.g., data, security) needs.
  • Collect and interpret data from various sources including databases and stakeholder interviews.
  • Independently resolve complex analytical challenges and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Support application development teams by documenting business processes and requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Integrate diverse business unit goals into cohesive project specifications.
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to business audiences and vice versa.
  • Maintain attention to detail while keeping a strategic perspective.
  • Model business and financial impacts of proposed solutions.
  • Contribute to project planning including estimates, schedules, and implementation strategies.
  • Interpret policies and recommend improvements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong background in business analysis, data analysis, and project management.
  • Intermediate proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or Qlik (preferred).
  • Product management experience (preferred).
  • Skilled in conducting stakeholder interviews and managing product lifecycles.
  • Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.
  • Experience in vendor and project management (desirable).
  • Familiarity with financial services or investment banking (preferred).

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Analysis or related field (required).
  • Master's degree in Computer and Information Science (preferred).

Experience:

  • 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience.
