Fund Accountant
A mission-driven investment firm is seeking a detail-oriented and process-focused professional to join its Accounting and Treasury team. This role supports the day-to-day accounting and operations of foundation and endowment investment portfolios and reports to the Client Accounting Controller.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly and quarterly closes for client investment portfolios
- Maintain transaction and valuation data in internal systems
- Support integration between accounting and performance systems
- Assist with audits, tax prep, and manager communications
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably with investment fund exposure
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA-track a plus
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with double-entry accounting systems
- High attention to detail and ability to see the big picture
