Front Office Support Specialist - Paris
Our client is a reputable international bank seeking a Front Office Rates Support Specialist for their Paris headquarters to provide hands‑on support for electronic trading platforms on the trading floor. The role acts as the first point of contact for all front office users, ensuring stability, performance, and rapid incident resolution across both internal and vendor systems.
This is a business‑critical, high‑pressure role requiring strong technical skills, Rates product knowledge, and clear communication with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first line of support for Traders and Sales on Rates eTrading platforms.
- Troubleshoot issues across market data, pricing, execution workflows, and platform stability.
- Provide structured, real‑time communication during incidents, outages, and degradations.
- Analyse logs, diagnose latency/stability issues, and manage incidents end‑to‑end (incident, problem, change, release).
- Perform preventative maintenance on hardware/software and tune monitoring/alerting systems.
- Build operational improvements, automations, and monitoring enhancements to reduce manual work.
- Work closely with development, infrastructure, and global support teams.
- Influence stakeholders and support strategic decision‑making.
Requirements:
- Front Office support experience in an investment banking environment is essential.
- Strong understanding of Rates products, pricing, market data, and execution flows.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
- Excellent communication with Front Office and senior stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Exposure to distributed, real‑time, low‑latency trading systems.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL, operational processes, and governance.
