Salary: $150k-$300k + Bonus

This is a unique opportunity to join a Biochemistry Research Firm's Financial Operations team! In this role, you'll have a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the financial backbone of a cutting-edge research organization. You will be involved in a wide range of responsibilities, from payroll and month-end close to budgeting, forecasting, and navigating domestic and international tax matters. The ideal candidate will come from a top university, bring a sharp eye for detail, and thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually driven environment.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Strong familiarity with month-end close procedures, bookkeeping and payroll processes
- Experience with domestic and international tax considerations for private companies
- Skilled in budgeting, forecasting and financial projects
- High proficiency in Excel and strong quantitative skills
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:
- 5-8 YOE in finance or accounting
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field from a top university
- Exceptional communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to handle tasks with precision and discretion
