Selby Jennings is partnering with a leading institutional investor in the global energy and infrastructure sectors and is seeking a Director of Fundraising to join its London office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a platform that has committed billions to energy-related projects and companies across the globe, with $15 billion under management.

About the Role:
You will lead capital raising efforts for infrastructure and energy-focused strategies, engaging European institutional investors and driving commitments across a global platform. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the chance to shape fundraising strategy for one of the most respected names in private markets.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies targeting European institutional investors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with pensions, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, and other institutional investors.
  • Create marketing materials and presentations to articulate the firm's value proposition.
  • Collaborate with investment teams to ensure effective communication of product details.
  • Monitor investor trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
Ideal Candidate:
  • 8-12 years' experience in private markets fundraising (infrastructure and energy preferred).
  • Proven track record of raising institutional capital from European investors.
  • Strong understanding of private markets and fund structures.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages advantageous.
