My client, a nationally recognized specialty insurance provider, is seeking a Crop Territory Sales Manager to oversee agency relationships and drive regional growth across a defined territory. This role is ideal for a crop insurance professional who thrives on building partnerships, identifying market opportunities, and supporting agents with tools and training to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with agencies and producers within the assigned region
- Develop and implement strategic plans to support profitable business growth
- Deliver training and ongoing support to agency partners on systems, products, and crop insurance practices
- Collaborate with internal teams across claims, underwriting, and operations to ensure consistent service delivery
- Monitor regional market trends and identify new business opportunities
- Act as a regional expert, providing insights on competitive activity and agent needs
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in crop insurance (sales, underwriting, claims, or agency)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated success in business development and agency management
- Familiarity with multi-peril crop insurance and private product offerings
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field preferred
- Must reside within the assigned territory and be open to regional travel
