We are partnering with a leading global education and technology company that is looking to add a Senior Manager, Corporate Development to its team in Boston. This individual will play a key role in evaluating and executing strategic growth initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and investments. The position offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to help shape the company's long-term growth strategy.
Senior Manager, Corporate Development will be responsible for:
* Leading the evaluation and execution of M&A opportunities, strategic investments, and partnership initiatives
* Building and maintaining complex financial models, valuation analyses, and business cases to support strategic decision making
* Conducting financial, commercial, and operational due diligence on prospective acquisition targets
* Performing industry, market, and competitive research to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends
* Preparing presentations and recommendations for executive leadership and key stakeholders
* Partnering cross-functionally with business leaders, finance, legal, and external advisors throughout transaction processes
* Supporting post-acquisition integration planning and execution efforts where applicable
Senior Manager, Corporate Development should have the following qualifications:
* 4-6 years of Investment Banking experience, ideally within the Technology, Software, or broader TMT sectors is preferred but not required
* Strong M&A transaction execution experience, including financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence
* Experience working on complex strategic transactions and interacting with senior executives
* Excellent analytical, financial, and communication skills
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field
* Corporate Development experience is a plus but not required
