Accounting Manager
Selby Jennings is currently partnered with one of the leading providers of market infrastructure globally - Ultimately focusing on providing clients with access to global financial and commodities markets, improving price discovery, liquidity, and distribution of data, through responsible and innovative solutions.
Due to organizational growth, they are looking to bring on an Accounting leader onto the Compensation team, working directly with the CFO and other senior level management.
Responsibilities Include:
- Performing and reviewing monthly compensation calculations for various divisions, ensuring accurate recording on the balance sheet and P&L within provided deadlines.
- Performing review of changes to broker contracts / compensation calculations
- Supporting the team on internal and external audits
- Spearheading process improvements and optimizations
- Working cross-functionally with other leaders within the organization to ensure proper reporting of relevant metrics
- Presenting budgeting and forecasting metrics to the wider business on relevant initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with compensation calculations and relevant reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel
- Experience leading a team and communicating with senior leadership and stakeholders
- Experience with equity plans and overall P&L reporting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
