About the Role

We are seeking a high-performing Account Director to drive strategic growth across public sector clients in the Middle East. This role focuses on selling advanced AI- and blockchain-driven cybersecurity solutions to government entities, ministries, and public institutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong enterprise sales expertise, deep understanding of the regional public sector landscape, and experience positioning complex cybersecurity and emerging technology solutions.


Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Account Management

  • Own and execute the sales strategy for key public sector accounts across the Middle East
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of high-value opportunities aligned with revenue targets
  • Build long-term, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders (CIOs, CISOs, Digital Transformation leaders)
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles from opportunity identification through contract closure

Strategic Engagement

  • Position the company's AI-powered cybersecurity and blockchain solutions as mission-critical enablers of national digital transformation
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities within government initiatives, smart city programs, and national cybersecurity strategies
  • Develop account plans aligned with client priorities and regulatory frameworks

Solution Selling & Collaboration

  • Work closely with pre-sales, product, and delivery teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions
  • Translate technical capabilities into business value for non-technical stakeholders
  • Lead complex bid responses, RFPs, and tender submissions

Market Intelligence & Positioning

  • Maintain deep knowledge of regional cybersecurity trends, public sector procurement processes, and regulatory environments
  • Track competitor activity and identify differentiators to strengthen market positioning
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and government forums

Requirements

Experience

  • 10-15+ years of enterprise sales experience, with at least 5+ years in cybersecurity or emerging technologies (AI, blockchain)
  • Proven track record of selling to public sector clients in the Middle East, especially UAE and GCC governments
  • Demonstrated success managing large, complex deals (multi-million USD contracts)
  • Strong understanding of public procurement processes and frameworks in the region

Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic selling and account management expertise
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior decision-makers
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and long sales cycles
  • Strong commercial acumen and solution-oriented mindset

Technical Knowledge

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity domains (e.g., threat intelligence, zero trust, identity security, SOC solutions)
  • Understanding of AI applications in cybersecurity and blockchain-based security solutions
  • Ability to articulate value propositions for emerging technologies in a public sector context

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred)
