Overview

A leading financial services firm is seeking a proactive and adaptable IT Project Manager to support critical Infrastructure and Security initiatives. This role blends strategic project execution with operational oversight, ensuring teams are focused on the right priorities while delivering high-impact work.

You'll operate in a dynamic environment with visibility into senior leadership and play a key role in advancing cyber resilience, operational stability, and technology modernization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple infrastructure and security initiatives across both project-based and operational workstreams
  • Own delivery across the full lifecycle: planning, execution, monitoring, and post-implementation review
  • Partner with technical leads to define scope, timelines, and resource needs
  • Drive effective prioritization and sequencing across competing initiatives
  • Track progress, dependencies, and risks using project management tools
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, and escalations to keep initiatives on track
  • Support a hybrid delivery model, adapting approach based on project complexity and business needs

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management, ideally supporting infrastructure or security teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and operational priorities
  • Experience working in hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and bring structure to fast-paced environments
  • Experience working with engineering teams focused on production support + strategic initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience managing complex technical initiatives
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar project tracking tools
  • Background in infrastructure and/or cybersecurity environments
  • Experience managing intake and prioritization frameworks across projects and BAU work
  • Strong ability to influence without direct authority
