Technical Business Manager/Analyst

Selby Jennings is partnered with a leading Systematic Trading fund looking to add an engineer to participate in the complete project life cycle of launching new Portfolio Management Teams into production and designing the research/trading solutions needed to support them. This role requires the skill set of an quant/engineer with a strong background working on front office activities, with the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders effectively and manage trading and business strategy roll out across multiple trading teams.

Requirements

  • BS in finance, statistics, math, engineering or computer science required. Degrees across more than one of these disciplines is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience within a similar role
  • 5+ years of Python experience.
  • Experience with SQL and Linux scripting with Perl, Bash, or related
  • Must have the ability to assist veteran specialists while simultaneously managing multiple long- and short-term projects independently under very tight project deadlines
  • Ability to lead new strategy roll out projects internally working across Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Risk groups, and externally with brokers, exchanges, and vendor. Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable
  • Experience across the following Liquid/Macro Instruments strongly preferred, but not required: Global Equities, Futures, FX, bonds, Credit or Rates

Expected Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 base + Cash Bonus
