Senior Pre-Sales Consultant (Demos)

One of our clients is a fast-growing SaaS company serving the financial services industry, looking to bring on Senior Pre-Sales Consultants to support its sales team. The company provides a compliance technology platform used by over 2,300 financial institutions-including wealth managers, asset managers, broker-dealers, and banks-to streamline regulatory processes and reduce risk.

As a Senior Pre-Sales Consultant / Senior Sales Engineer you'll play a critical role in the sales cycle by acting as a subject matter expert and product advocate. You'll lead discovery calls, deliver compelling demos, and help prospects understand how the platform can solve complex compliance and operational challenges.

Location: Austin, TX hybrid OR Remote for east-coast based candidates (ideally NYC)


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives on discovery calls, demos, and solution presentations

  • Translate client needs into tailored solution designs using the platform's full capabilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, clearly articulating the business value

  • Provide input on RFPs and support technical evaluations during the sales process

  • Stay up to date on industry regulations (SEC, FINRA, 17a-4) and platform capabilities

  • Ensure proposed solutions align with industry best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success to ensure smooth handoffs post-sale


Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a pre-sales, solutions consultant, or client-facing role at a Compliance, SaaS or fintech company

  • Strong familiarity with financial services workflows or regulatory environments

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts

  • Comfort presenting software solutions to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Understanding of SaaS platforms, APIs, and cloud-based systems (hands-on experience not required)

  • Preference for candidates near the company's Austin TX HQ, but remote applicants are welcome (preferrably NYC, Boston, Chicago, and other east coast hubs)

  • This is a client-facing, strategic role ideal for professionals who enjoy storytelling, problem-solving, and product evangelism
