Senior Defined Contribution Consultant

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and client-focused Defined Contribution Consultant with at least 7 years of hands-on experience in full-scope plan administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance testing, deep familiarity with FT William software, and a proven ability to communicate effectively with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end administration of defined contribution plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct and review complex compliance testing (ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, 410(b), 415, etc.).
  • Prepare and file Form 5500 and related schedules using FT William.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and responsive support.
  • Interpret and apply IRS and DOL regulations to ensure plan compliance and recommend corrective actions when needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve plan issues and deliver high-quality service.
  • Support audits and regulatory inquiries with thorough documentation and professional communication.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in defined contribution plan administration.
  • Strong client-facing experience with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Proficiency with FT William software is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of retirement plan compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • ASPPA or CEBS credentials are a plus.
