Job Title: Responsable du Contrôle (RC) - Compliance Officer
Location: Luxembourg
Role Purpose
The RC is responsible for overseeing compliance with Luxembourg AML/CFT regulations and ensuring robust internal controls. Acting as the primary contact for AML/CFT matters with the CSSF and other authorities, the RC ensures that the firm and its managed funds meet all regulatory obligations under CSSF Regulation 12-02 and related laws.
Key Responsibilities
- AML/CFT Oversight
- Implement and maintain the AML/CFT compliance framework.
- Conduct annual AML/CFT risk assessments for the firm and managed funds.
- Review and update AML/CFT policies and procedures regularly.
- Regulatory Reporting
- Prepare periodic and ad-hoc compliance reports for the Board and CSSF.
- Register with GoAML and report suspicious transactions to the FIU.
- Monitoring & Controls
- Oversee transaction monitoring and periodic screenings (PEPs, sanctions).
- Validate KYC/KYT/KYD processes and ensure data integrity.
- Governance
- Act as central contact for AML/CFT purposes with Luxembourg authorities.
- Ensure timely responses to regulatory inquiries and audits.
- Training
- Organize annual AML/CFT training for staff and relevant stakeholders.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with the RR (Responsable du Respect) and senior management.
- Supervise junior compliance team members and provide guidance.
Profile Requirements
- Minimum 5-8 years experience in compliance within AIFM, ManCo, or fiduciary services.
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg AML/CFT laws, CSSF Circulars, AIFM & UCITS regulations.
- Prior experience as RC or senior compliance officer is a strong asset.
- Degree in Law, Finance, or related field.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French; other languages (Italian, Spanish) are a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, with strong organizational and analytical skills.
