Pharmacy Consulting Senior Analyst

Location: Remote or Hybrid
Job Type: Full-Time

A leading healthcare analytics and consulting organization is seeking a Senior Analyst to help clients navigate PBM arrangements, understand cost drivers, and develop data‑driven strategies to improve the value and affordability of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform qualitative and financial evaluations of PBM contracts, including pricing structures and fee schedules
  • Support the development of analytical models leveraging pharmacy claims, eligibility data, and related datasets
  • Acquire, clean, integrate, and standardize large pharmacy data sources to create clear, actionable reports
  • Assist in drafting proposals, presentations, exhibits, RFP responses, and client‑facing deliverables
  • Work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team‑oriented environment

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, data analytics, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience analyzing pharmacy claims or similar healthcare datasets
  • Strong proficiency in business and data analysis tools, especially Excel, SAS, and/or SQL
  • Experience in the pharmacy benefits industry (PBMs, health plans, etc.) preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with pharmacy reimbursement concepts (e.g., WAC, AWP, discounts, rebates) preferred
  • Experience working with large pharmacy datasets and developing reports or models related to formulary management, prior authorization, drug pricing, or similar areas preferred
