Investor Reporting Analyst
Selby Jennings is partnering with a rapidly expanding private credit investment firm focused on transitional commercial real estate debt to identify an Investor Reporting Analyst for their Dallas office. This role offers a unique opportunity for a driven professional to help shape and refine internal reporting frameworks, improve data integrity, and support investor communications and strategic initiatives across the firm's asset management platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in compiling and reviewing recurring reports for both internal stakeholders and external investors, ensuring alignment with internal standards.
- Conduct regular audits of reporting outputs to identify and resolve inconsistencies or anomalies.
- Maintain and update documentation for operational workflows, including SOPs and checklists.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless handoffs and adherence to standardized procedures.
- Monitor and troubleshoot reporting exceptions and data irregularities.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Support day-to-day reporting activities with a focus on precision and reliability.
- Utilize Excel and internal systems to manage and validate data for recurring reports.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 2-4 years of experience in reporting, operations, or quality assurance.
- Proactive and analytical mindset with a knack for identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
- Exposure to finance or commercial real estate is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in audit, compliance, or quality control environments is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills for documentation and internal collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.
- Comfortable working independently and across departments.
