Title: VP, Investment Product Marketing

Overview:
A fast-growing financial services platform is looking for a skilled and experienced Investment Product Marketer to join its marketing and communications team. This role will focus on building and executing strategies that promote a wide range of investment products, especially alternatives. You'll create compelling marketing content, collaborate across teams, and play a key role in how the firm communicates its product value to financial advisors and other professional audiences.

This position reports to the head of product and audience marketing for alternative investments and is ideal for someone who understands complex investment products and knows how to simplify and market them effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing plans to support investment product growth, including alternative investments and publicly registered funds.
  • Write and edit marketing materials such as product brochures, sales presentations, performance reports, email campaigns, web copy, and video scripts.
  • Support a program tailored to independent advisors through content development across multiple formats (presentations, guides, event support, etc.).
  • Own marketing support for specific fund series, ensuring content is current and aligned with sales and compliance needs.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to gather insights and data that inform marketing strategy and content development.
  • Ensure all materials align with brand voice and meet regulatory standards.
  • Help build go-to-market plans for new product launches.
  • Stay on top of market trends and incorporate relevant themes into campaigns and content.
  • Support nurture campaigns and broader marketing initiatives that tie into key asset classes or product categories.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

What You Bring:

  • 7-10+ years of marketing and writing experience within financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products such as annuities, structured products, or alternatives.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills for both short- and long-form B2B content.
  • Ability to translate complex investment concepts into accessible, engaging language.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Familiarity with FINRA and SEC marketing guidelines.
  • Series 7 and 63 preferred, but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, finance, or a related field.
