Funds Counsel (m/f/d)
About the Role
This is a high-impact legal position focused on the structuring, formation, and management of private equity and alternative investment funds, including private credit and other complex asset classes. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing fund setup processes and ensuring compliance with international regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and advise on the structuring and formation of investment funds, particularly in the private equity and private credit space.
- Manage legal aspects of fund operations, including regulatory compliance, tax structuring, and cross-border legal considerations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to navigate jurisdictions such as Luxembourg, Ireland, and the Cayman Islands.
- Provide strategic legal input on fund documentation, investor negotiations, and governance matters.
- Support project management across fund launches and restructurings, ensuring timely and compliant execution.
- Work closely with senior management and contribute to global initiatives within the legal and fund structuring teams.
Candidate Profile
- Strong expertise in fund structuring, alternative investments, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with private equity, private credit, or similar asset classes is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with international fund jurisdictions (Luxembourg, Ireland, Cayman Islands).
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
- A legal background (e.g., law degree or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
