A leading Swiss equities and research platform is seeking an Equity Sales Trader to join its London office. The firm has an established franchise within Swiss equities and institutional research, servicing a diverse client base of hedge funds and long-only asset managers across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with institutional investors, including hedge funds and long-only asset managers.
- Execute and service cash equity flow across European markets.
- Deliver trading ideas, market insight, and research-driven investment opportunities.
- Facilitate interactions between clients and research analysts.
- Drive wallet share growth across existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
- Partner closely with Sales, Research, and Trading teams across London and Zurich.
Requirements
- 5-10 years' experience within Equity Sales Trading, Cash Equity Sales, Research Sales, or a related institutional sales role.
- Existing relationships with hedge funds and/or long-only asset managers.
- Strong coverage of UK institutional clients preferred.
- European client relationships across France, the Netherlands, or the Nordics advantageous.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong commercial focus.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to engage credibly with portfolio managers, traders, and sophisticated institutional investors.
- Open to candidates from banks, brokers, or specialist investment firms.

Client Coverage The role will focus primarily on institutional investors across the UK, France, Netherlands, and Nordics, with some exposure to North American accounts. The client base is approximately 60% hedge funds and 40% long-only asset managers.
