Our client is hiring a Commercial Lines Product Specialist with expertise in Inland Marine insurance to support the ongoing development and refinement of their product portfolio. This role is ideal for a seasoned insurance professional who enjoys combining technical knowledge with strategic thinking to enhance product performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
Position Overview
The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing Inland Marine product offerings, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing updates that align with market trends and regulatory requirements. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to deliver timely and effective product enhancements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the performance and development of Inland Marine insurance products
- Analyze industry data, regulatory updates, and competitor offerings to inform product strategy
- Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to implement product changes
- Draft and distribute training materials and internal communications related to product updates
- Prepare and manage regulatory filings and documentation
- Serve as a subject matter expert on coverage, forms, and rating methodologies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- At least six years of experience in commercial insurance, including Inland Marine
- In-depth understanding of commercial insurance policies, coverage structures, and rating systems
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience developing training and support documentation
