Actuarial Analyst
We're partnering with a healthcare organization that is looking to add an Actuarial Analyst to its growing team. This is a great opportunity for an actuary with 2-4 years of experience who wants to build a broader skillset and gain exposure beyond a single product line.
If you've spent time supporting Medicare Advantage or ACA and are interested in expanding your experience, this role offers the chance to work across multiple actuarial functions while partnering closely with business leaders on meaningful projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Support pricing, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Perform reserve analyses and financial performance reporting
- Analyze claims, utilization, membership, and healthcare cost trends
- Develop and enhance actuarial models, projections, and reporting tools
- Partner with finance, analytics, and operational leaders on strategic initiatives
- Translate complex data into actionable business insights
- Contribute to projects that support key business decisions across multiple healthcare products
What they're looking for:
- 2-4 years of actuarial experience
- Progress toward ASA designation
- Experience with Medicare Advantage and/or ACA
- Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with large datasets and financial analyses
- Ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Someone who is curious, collaborative, and interested in continuing to grow professionally
