VP Private Credit Product Specialist
A blue-chip middle market direct lending firm headquartered in New York City is looking for a Vice President to support fundraising and client. This role involves developing tailored reports, responding to investor inquiries, and contributing to product development and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in private credit strategies and demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership capabilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Serve as a product expert, clearly articulating fund details in written and verbal formats
- Participate in client meetings and performance update calls
- Support new product initiatives and manage key deliverables across teams
- Develop customized proposals and investor solutions
- Create investor-facing materials including performance updates and portfolio analytics
- Collaborate across departments to gather data and respond to investor requests
- Mentor junior staff to ensure high-quality, timely content
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; CFA a plus
- 7+ years of investment management experience focused on credit products
- Deep knowledge of private credit vehicles (BDCs, CLOs, private funds)
- Strong performance analytics and attribution skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Proven cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel (~25%)
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a high-performance hybrid work culture
