VP Private Credit Product Specialist

A blue-chip middle market direct lending firm headquartered in New York City is looking for a Vice President to support fundraising and client. This role involves developing tailored reports, responding to investor inquiries, and contributing to product development and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in private credit strategies and demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership capabilities.

Main Responsibilities

• Serve as a product expert, clearly articulating fund details in written and verbal formats
• Participate in client meetings and performance update calls
• Support new product initiatives and manage key deliverables across teams
• Develop customized proposals and investor solutions
• Create investor-facing materials including performance updates and portfolio analytics
• Collaborate across departments to gather data and respond to investor requests
• Mentor junior staff to ensure high-quality, timely content

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CFA a plus
• 7+ years of investment management experience focused on credit products
• Deep knowledge of private credit vehicles (BDCs, CLOs, private funds)
• Strong performance analytics and attribution skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to travel (~25%)
