A leading global provider of financial data solutions is hiring a Vice President (VP) of Sales to lead strategic growth across its financial services and fintech client base. This role focuses on expanding enterprise relationships, shaping go-to-market strategy, and delivering tailored data solutions through a consultative, client-centric approach.
The ideal candidate brings experience in enterprise data sales, particularly involving API-based and programmatic distribution, and excels at navigating complex organizations, aligning solutions with business needs, and fostering long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic sales efforts and manage high-value accounts across financial institutions and fintechs.
- Identify growth opportunities, guide account strategy, and support long-term client success.
- Conduct consultative engagements to understand client workflows and propose tailored data solutions.
- Collaborate with presales, product, and marketing teams to support technical evaluations and solution delivery.
- Maintain pipeline visibility and revenue forecasting using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Represent the company at executive meetings, demos, and industry events.
Candidate Profile:
- 5-8+ years of B2B sales experience in financial data, fintech, or capital markets.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment workflows, and data integration models.
- Proven success managing enterprise accounts and driving strategic growth.
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and productivity tools.
Required Experience:
- Selling enterprise data solutions via APIs, feeds, or cloud-based platforms.
- Familiarity with programmatic data consumption and integration into client systems.
- Ability to map client business models to relevant data solutions.
- Experience working cross-functionally with presales and product teams.
