Position Overview
They are seeking a highly motivated and analytically strong Senior Associate to join their investment team. This individual will play a critical role in evaluating new investment opportunities, executing transactions, and supporting portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in financial analysis, deal execution, and sector-specific insight, particularly in software and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead due diligence efforts including market research, financial modeling, and valuation analysis.
- Support deal execution from sourcing through closing, including drafting investment memos and coordinating third-party advisors.
- Work closely with portfolio company management teams to monitor performance, identify growth opportunities, and support strategic initiatives.
- Assist in fundraising efforts and investor communications as needed.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate development.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with a deep understanding of valuation techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in the software, business services, or consumer sectors is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus but not required.
