Project Manager, Data
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead a large-scale Data Transformation Program across the organization. This strategic initiative aims to modernize our data architecture, improve data governance, enhance data quality, and enable data-driven decision-making at scale. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex data or digital transformation programs, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-wide projects on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of the data transformation program, aligning with organizational objectives.
Manage cross-functional teams including data engineering, data governance, IT, and business stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership, ensuring project milestones, budgets, and deliverables are met.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and technical leads.
Develop detailed project plans, risk registers, resource plans, and communication strategies.
Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and third-party integrations as needed.
Track project performance using appropriate tools and KPIs, ensuring continuous reporting to stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Foster a culture of agility, innovation, and accountability within the project team
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
7+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in data-related or enterprise IT projects.
Proven experience in managing large-scale data transformation or digital modernization programs.
Strong understanding of data platforms (e.g., data lakes, cloud data warehouses), ETL pipelines, and data governance frameworks.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional, and matrixed environments.
