Junior C++ Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Developer to design, optimize, and maintain low-latency, high-throughput systems on Linux. You will work on mission-critical back-end services, focusing on real-time data processing, network communication, and scalable architecture.
This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in performance-critical environments and enjoy solving complex challenges in concurrency, distributed systems, and infrastructure automation. While financial domain experience is not required, prior work on real-time systems (trading, gaming, ad tech, etc.) is a strong plus.
Core Responsibilities:
- Proficient in C++11 and modern C++ development practices.
- Extensive experience in multi-threading and network programming on Linux.
- Familiarity with Python and Shell scripting for automation and tooling.
- Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, including unit testing and clean code principles.
- No prior financial domain knowledge required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Expertise in C++ (multithreading, memory management, network programming).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP stack and Linux development environment.
- 1+ years of hands-on database programming (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB).
- Proven experience in WebSocket/Socket.io server-side development.
- Mastery of at least one **deployment automation tool** (Jenkins X/Spinnaker/Argo CD).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Contributions to message middleware (Aeron/ZeroMQ) core modules.
- Familiarity with eBPF/DPDK for network acceleration.
- Experience in real-time systems (financial industry is a plus).
- Open-source contributions (GitHub profile required for review).
- Strong DevOps mindset, with CI/CD pipeline design expertise.
