A leading global investment bank to hire a high-calibre Investment Banking Associate to join its Industrials M&A team in London. Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution workstreams across sell-side, buy-side, and strategic advisory mandates
- Build and review financial models (DCF, LBO, merger models) and valuation analyses
- Prepare and deliver client materials, including pitch books, IMs, and management presentations
- Coordinate due diligence processes and manage internal/external stakeholders
- Drive day-to-day client engagement alongside senior deal leads
- Coach and develop junior analysts, ensuring high-quality output and attention to detail
Candidate Profile
- 3-5 years' experience in investment banking, with a strong focus on M&A
- Demonstrated track record in Industrials M&A, ideally covering sectors such as capital goods, business services, or infrastructure-related assets (candidates from high-performing generalist teams also considered)
- Proven experience executing transactions end-to-end, including financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and client deliverables
- Excellent technical skillset across DCF, comparable analysis, and transaction modelling
- Strong commercial judgement with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Confident communicator with experience interacting with senior stakeholders and contributing to client relationships
