Our client is an investment management firm that is expanding its private real estate business. They are searching for a candidate who will lead the accounting, reporting, and operational finance function for this platform, specific to real estate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Full ownership of accounting and financial reporting across projects and entities.
- Monthly and quarterly close cycles, including financial statements, management reporting, and variance analysis
- Design and implementation of accounting policies, frameworks, and controls specific to residential development and sales
- Oversight of job costing, construction draws, vendor payments, cost tracking, contingencies, and lender reporting
- Cash‑flow forecasting, capital calls, cash management, and sources/uses planning
- Budgeting, forecasting, and buildout of KPI dashboards and performance metrics
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred.
- 8-15 years of experience within private real estate, private equity, investment management, or real estate fund accounting
- MUST HAVE - experience with Build-to-Sell (BTS) and Acquire-Renovate-Sell (ARS) strategies
