EMIR Regulatory Reporting Manager

Known for their commitment to regulatory excellence and innovation, they are currently seeking a highly skilled EMIR Regulatory Reporting Compliance Expert to join their London-based compliance team.
This is a pivotal role within the bank's regulatory compliance function. The successful candidate will serve as the subject matter expert on EMIR (European Market Infrastructure Regulation), ensuring the bank's compliance with evolving regulatory requirements, including EMIR Refit. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across compliance, legal, operations, and technology to maintain robust reporting frameworks and drive regulatory change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on EMIR reporting obligations and regulatory expectations.
- Lead or support the implementation of EMIR Refit and other regulatory change programs.
- Conduct internal reviews and gap analyses of EMIR reporting processes and controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the bank's compliance posture.
- Engage with regulators and industry forums on EMIR-related topics.
- Deliver training and awareness sessions to internal stakeholders.
Your Profile
- Experience in regulatory compliance or regulatory reporting within investment banking or financial services.
- In-depth knowledge of EMIR and EMIR Refit, with a strong understanding of financial markets products (e.g., derivatives, repos, securities lending).
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory texts and translate them into actionable guidance.
