Director / Managing Director - Middle East Fundraising
Overview:
We are working with a leading private markets platform seeking to hire a Director / Managing Director‑level professional to join its Investor Relations and Capital Formation team.
This is a senior mandate focused on expanding investor coverage across Europe and the Middle East, with a particular emphasis on deepening relationships with sovereign wealth funds and institutional investors.
The role offers the opportunity to work across a diversified platform spanning private equity, infrastructure, and private credit strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead capital formation efforts across EMEA, with a focus on institutional and strategic investors
- Develop and maintain relationships with sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, insurance companies, and key institutional allocators
- Drive fundraising across a range of strategies including private equity, infrastructure, private credit, and secondaries
- Take ownership of key LP relationships, managing the full fundraising lifecycle from origination through to execution
- Work closely with internal investment and product teams to position strategies effectively to investors
- Represent the firm at industry conferences and investor meetings across the region
Candidate Profile:
- Director / Managing Director level experience within investor relations, fundraising, or capital formation
- Proven track record of raising capital across institutional channels, particularly within Europe and/or the Middle East
- Strong, well‑established relationships with SWFs, institutional LPs, and key allocators
- Experience across private markets, including private equity, infrastructure, and private credit
- Secondaries experience preferred, though not required
- Candidates from a primaries-only background will be considered where broader experience and relationships are strong
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to originate opportunities and open doors independently
