The Quant Strategies group focuses on algorithmic trading and quantitative strategies within the Credit space. Unlike firms that prioritize scale, profitability is emphasised over balance sheet size, competing effectively by maximizing PnL through innovation and precision.

- Algo Trading: A mature and stable area with a strong focus on applied, production-ready solutions.
Role Overview
As a Quantitative Trader, you will:
- Develop and manage trading strategies across Investment Grade (IG), High Yield (HY), and General Markets (GM) credit products.
- Build and deploy analytics, trading signals (e.g., mean reversion), recommender systems, and alpha-generating tools.
- Work closely with line traders to enhance decision-making through systematic insights.
- Contribute to the team's long-term goal of future-proofing the trading floor through data and infrastructure innovation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Background:
- Experience in Fixed Income, particularly Credit.
- Could be a credit analyst with a quantitative edge or a desk quant who has built tools for trading desks.
- Buy-side experience is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong applied quantitative skills; emphasis on practical implementation over theoretical research.
- Familiarity with machine learning and GenAI (e.g., for client interaction or textual data analysis), used appropriately.
- Ability to support day-to-day trading and collaborate with traders.
