Associate/Sr. Associate
Selby Jennings is partnered with a highly reputable Real Estate Private Equity firm headquartered in Austin, TX. The firm is actively seeking to hire an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Acquisitions team. This individual will focus primarily on self-storage investments, along with select opportunities across other asset classes. The role offers the chance to work on a lean, high-performing deal team with strong visibility and upward mobility.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support all phases of the deal process, including origination, underwriting, and execution for acquisitions and development opportunities
- Conduct detailed market research to help inform investment decisions and strategy
- Build financial models, perform comparative analyses, and prepare internal investment committee presentations
- Analyze due diligence materials and assist in transaction execution
- Take on additional ad-hoc responsibilities related to deal flow and portfolio support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or a related field with strong academic standing
- 2-5 years of real estate acquisitions experience; self-storage experience is preferred
- Advanced financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Based in Austin, TX or open to relocation
