Overview

The Vice President will support the New York based Credit Risk team, with primary responsibility for a diversified portfolio heavily weighted toward Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT). The role is focused on leveraged finance adjudication and ongoing portfolio monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adjudication of new leveraged transactions, including:
    • Leveraged buyouts (LBOs)
    • Refinancings and amendments
    • Financing for growth initiatives and expansion opportunities (including AI‑driven strategies)
  • Independent credit analysis and approval of new deals
  • Ongoing monitoring of assigned portfolio, identifying emerging risks and credit issues
  • Annual sign‑off on credit ratings (formal annual reviews completed by a separate team)
  • Close collaboration with origination and relationship teams while maintaining independent credit judgment

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in credit risk, leveraged finance, or corporate banking covering TMT or similar coverage areas
  • Strong experience evaluating leveraged transactions and complex capital structures
  • Sector experience in TMT preferred; exposure to healthcare, aerospace & defense, or business services a plus
  • Strong analytical skills, sound credit judgment, and ability to manage multiple credits
