A rapidly growing fintech company is seeking an experienced Annuities Sales Specialist to help scale a new, advisor-focused annuities platform. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-funded, innovative team that's modernizing how independent financial advisors access and deliver insurance solutions to their clients.
About the Role
You'll serve as a subject matter expert on annuity products-supporting sales efforts, educating advisors, and driving adoption across a growing network of RIAs. This role blends product knowledge, relationship management, and strategic sales execution. You'll work closely with internal sales and marketing teams, contribute to go-to-market strategy, and represent the platform at industry events and conferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support annuity sales conversations with financial advisors and RIA firms
- Educate advisors on product offerings (e.g., MYGAs, FIAs, VAs) and platform capabilities
- Generate and manage pipeline through warm and cold outreach, events, and referrals
- Collaborate on sales materials, training content, and marketing campaigns
- Track activity and manage pipeline using CRM tools
- Provide occasional support to end-clients and internal teams on product-related questions
- Stay current on industry trends and regulatory developments
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in annuities sales, ideally within the RIA or wealth management space
- Strong understanding of insurance products and advisor workflows
- Life insurance license required (or willingness to obtain)
- FINRA Series 6 or 7 preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to both individuals and groups
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
Details
- Location: Hybrid (New Jersey residents will be required on-site 3x a week. New York state residents must be in the office 5x a week for legal licensing reasons)
- Compensation: Base salary range of $125K-$165K, plus bonus
- Travel: Occasional travel for conferences and client meetings (under 20%)
