VP, Equity Operations -Hedge Fund

Our client, a leading global investment firm, is seeking a Senior Equity Operations VP to join their high-performing operations team in Hong Kong.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of the full post-trade lifecycle for equity products, ensuring operational accuracy, efficiency, and control across all processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee trade booking, amendments, and resolution of trade breaks
• Perform daily reconciliations of cash, positions, and trades across internal systems and external counterparties
• Monitor and process corporate actions accurately and on time
• Manage margin calls and collateral requirements with Treasury and prime brokers
• Act as a key liaison between Trading, Treasury, Compliance, Fund Administrators, Prime Brokers, and Execution Brokers
• Ensure timely and accurate trade settlement, resolving discrepancies
• Drive process improvements and control enhancements across equities operations

What experience do you need?

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related discipline
• Strong knowledge of equity products and full trade lifecycle
• Proven experience with prime brokers, execution brokers, and fund administrators
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities
• High level of ownership, initiative, and process-driven thinking
