Responsibilities:

Lead Complex Planning Initiatives (30%)

  • Drive sophisticated planning engagements requiring multi-disciplinary expertise
  • Develop integrated strategies across estate, tax, business succession, philanthropy, and legacy planning
  • Work closely with advisors and internal partners to ensure alignment and execution

Deliver Advanced Tax & Estate Solutions (30%)

  • Design and implement advanced techniques such as GRATs, SLATs, IDGTs, FLPs, and charitable trusts
  • Navigate federal and state tax implications for high-net-worth families
  • Support liquidity, succession, and wealth transfer strategies for business owners and multi-generational households

Create and Present Customized Plans (30%)

  • Build personalized financial plans using eMoney and MoneyGuidePro
  • Join client meetings as a technical expert, offering clear, actionable guidance
  • Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and timeliness

Mentor and Innovate (10%)

  • Provide guidance to junior planners and contribute to team development
  • Help refine firm-wide planning tools and processes
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging strategies for ultra-affluent clients

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Financial Planning, or related field
  • CFP® required; advanced credentials (CPA, JD, LLM) strongly preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial planning, with a focus on high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients
  • Expertise in planning for clients with $10M-$50M+ net worth, including trust structures, family governance, and succession planning
  • Strong technical knowledge of estate planning, tax law, charitable strategies, and investment considerations
  • Excellent communication skills-able to simplify complex concepts for clients
  • Proficiency with eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, and CRM systems like Salesforce
  • Ability to travel 20-25% for client meetings
