Senior Business Analyst

Selby Jennings is partnered with a leading capital markets fintech looking to bring a Senior Business Analyst to help lead the strategy and roll out of various investment technology projects for the firm's Fixed income Electronic Trading Team. The successful candidate will be well versed in the front office trading space, comfortable with senior management and technology interaction, and leading project initiatives end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior end users and business leaders from multiple investment teams as well as a team of software developers to define and deliver projects that drive business goals and efficiency.
• Document business requirements in Confluence, technical requirements in JIRA, and/or project level integration analysis on a project-by-project basis
• Conduct discovery analyses to understand user needs, scope open-ended projects, and conceptualize solutions.
• Support scrum meetings - Strong experience with SDLC and scrum agile practices
• Support Technology, Business, and Project Management teams to a successful conclusion of projects by consulting across teams receiving input into operational delivery, planning and alignment

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant business analysis / project management experience.
• 2+ years of Electronic trading experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; Commercial experience with Portfolio Manager engagement
• Experience in the Credit Markets, Credit Trading, or Fixed Income domains
• Experience simultaneously coordinating multiple projects across separate teams and functional areas
• Ability to communicate at detailed levels to development teams and users, and executive updates to senior stakeholders.

Expected Compensation: $140,000 - $180,000 base + Cash Bonus
