The Opportunity
The Primary Research team serves as a centralized resource supporting multiple Portfolio Managers and investment teams across the platform. Analysts are responsible for generating differentiated, proprietary insights through extensive industry engagement and data gathering, helping drive investment decisions across the fund.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Conducting channel checks across relevant industries and supply chains
- Managing and executing expert network consultations
- Developing relationships with industry participants, competitors, customers, distributors, and suppliers
- Identifying and sourcing proprietary information streams
- Collaborating closely with investment professionals to answer key investment questions
- Helping design and execute primary research projects that directly influence investment outcomes
- Synthesizing qualitative findings into actionable insights for Portfolio Managers and analysts
