Operations Manager - Hedge Fund

Selby Jennings has partnered with a top performing Asia EM focused long-bias fund in seeking an Operations Manager to join their team in Hong Kong.

This role will focus on managing the operational workflows, ensuring seamless execution of investment operations, trade processing, data management, and operational reporting. The role requires an analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering excellence.

Details:

• Support the Operations Director in day-to-day Operations tasks
• Oversee and monitor external partners
• Produce and prepare regular operational reporting as required
• Assist in process / workflow optimization projects to ensure consistent and efficient deliverables

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (or above) in business or finance related field
• 5+ years of experience in financial services industry and asset management
• Exposure to various products and fund platforms
• Possess good knowledge of fund admin services, including MO operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and interact with employees at all levels
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proven self-starter, with an entrepreneurial mindset, and willingness to gain exposure to various teams and parts of the business
