Position Overview:

The team is looking for a Vice President in Investment Banking with a strong background in the technology and software sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing professional to join a dynamic team focused on delivering sophisticated financial advisory services to a range of clients, including startups, mid-market companies, and large corporations in the tech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage key client relationships in the technology and software sectors.
  • Oversee financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence processes for M&A transactions, capital raises, and strategic advisory engagements.
  • Prepare pitch materials, presentations, and other client deliverables.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define transaction strategy and execution plans.
  • Mentor and manage junior team members, fostering their development and ensuring high-quality work output.
  • Support the execution of mergers and acquisitions, private equity raises, and strategic advisory mandates.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and fostering relationships within the tech and B2B software markets.
  • Work closely with internal teams, external advisors, and clients to ensure seamless transaction execution.

Qualifications:

  • 5 - 8 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on technology, software, or B2B sectors.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Proven experience in managing and executing M&A transactions.
  • Ability to work independently and lead projects with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, senior executives, and team members.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred).
  • Must be willing to work on-site in Los Angeles, California
