Term: Initial 3-month placement with the opportunity to convert to a permanent role after the milestone review

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our client's Investment Banking division as an Analyst. This entry-level position offers exposure to complex transactions within the Wealth & Asset Management and Public Company M&A sectors, supporting the European Financial Institutions Group. The successful candidate will work closely with senior bankers on live deals, financial modelling, valuation analysis, and preparation of client presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including financial analysis, due diligence, and preparation of marketing materials.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to support valuation and strategic decision-making.
• Conduct industry and company research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with team members across multiple geographies to deliver high-quality client solutions.
• Support senior bankers in client meetings and presentations.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Degree from a leading UK institution (Oxbridge or Russell Group) in STEM or Economics disciplines.
• Experience: No significant prior experience required; ideal for candidates starting their careers in investment banking.
• Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Language: Native English speaker.
• Availability: Must be available for in-person interviews in London and able to commence full-time employment from January 2026.
